Two neat finds:

Natalie Dee webcomic/funny art stuff. There's some classic hilarity in there, especially for my random sense of humor!

Autostitch, which enables panoramic picture making and seems to make it loads easier (and the example end product looks fantastic). I can't wait to try this with my panaramic pictures from the Eiffel Tower.

Celtic Knotwork Applet. This was a handy find, especially for my sister and I. We're getting our ankle tattoos finished (eventually), and this is a design-your-own knotwork program/applet. Very handy.

Check 'em out!

Found some good ones today!

Infomercialratings.com, rates products sold on (oh boy, you guessed it!) late-night infomercials. Good news - many of them list the prices, too (unlike many infomercials)!

Also, this is the coolest thing I've seen today. Click here to check gas prices by zip code. That is damn cool.

Oh, the rich text... how did I not discover you before?
People people! I mean, wtf... =^_^=

Just because I think this is an awesome community idea, I wanted to see if I could bring it to life.

Digg.com

Digg's this super spiffy website in which people submit news, related to technology and science mostly, and if you think it's pretty tubular, then you 'digg it'. You can comment on the news stuffs and you can submit your own.

MegaTokyo

Cory knows of this beauty. This is more for if you want to spend hours and or days reading through a crazy web comic. This is my first web comic and it makes me smile. It's pretty cool stuff.

Anti-Hero for Hire
Yet another web comic that would take you awhile to catch up. But it's great. I haven't read it for awhile, but it was staring at me from my bookmarks toolbar. It's about a hero kinda guy, he has his villians and all that jazz. It's different though. It's awesome.

Tealin's Harry Potter Celebration
This is my FAVORITE fan-artist ever. I wouldn't link her here usually, but her art is so... awesome. I just adore it. She also has some other really cool stuff on there as well.

randomness is the fun-est
Found Magazine:
http://www.foundmagazine.com/
It's fun to look through the found items of the week. And they encourage submissions, so you could get your found item to be the item of the week, or maybe it could end up in the magazine! And they're based out of Ann Arbor, so I gotta pimp stuff that's local to me. :)

http://www.4chan.org
This is a giant image board. They have everything from anime to hot boys to look through. WARNING, this site is not work safe and not intended for those under 18 in some areas.

http://del.icio.us/
Store all your bookmarks online so you can access them anywhere for FREE! YAY! And you can browse through everyone elses bookmarks to find cool stuff. It's a great time waster.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/
Just what it says, a user created dictionary of slang terms. You can create your own definitions and vote on how much you like other people's definitions.

http://www.threadless.com/
Sweet t-shirt website. All the shirts are created by people who visit the site. It's fun to look through all the different ideas people have. You might something fun and unique to buy!

Recommended communities!
Okay, sorry it's been dull in here. I'll liven things up with... PIMPAGE!

Here we go:

Picspam communities!
baaaaabyanimals, for all your baby animal viewing pleasure. This is probably one of my favorite places on the Internet, because basically people post pics and then everyone replies with "AWWWEEEEE!!!!" It's SO much fun!

cats_with_claws, a community focused not only on posting pics of cats, but cats who have their claws intact. Also, lots of info on humane ways to keep a pet and furniture in good shape. Definitely a must-join for cat lovers.

kittypix, also another great picspam community for cat owners and lovers. People post pics of cats of ALL ages, not just the kitties. Because hell, everyone who has a cat still adores their kitty regardless of age :-)

found_objects, which there is some drama, but for the most part, a highly entertaining community. Based off of the wonders of Found Magazine.

landscape, a photography community focused on (you guess it!) landscapes.

macro_pics, another photography community, but the focus is on macro pics. Highly recommended!

supashiny, for those who love looking at shiny objects.

... as is picturing_food. Imagine what that one's all about ;)

And my personal favorite, the man!pic!spam communities:
_cream_, bean_daily, boreanaz_pics, david_b_daily, ewan_daily, ioan_daily, lickthatpic, lotrboys_daily, malecelebrities, men_daily, mmm_daily, ourliam, rightclickdrool, viggo_daily, and vintage_meat

HIGHLY recommended RSS feeds:

apod, Astronomy Picture of the Day

dinosaurcomics, for lovers of Qwantz comics!

And finally, if you love comics, you have to friend iharthdarth and if you love darth's comics, check out iharthdarthcons and iharthdarthfans.

Right now I'm reading Malcom Gladwell's Blink, a book that discusses unconscious reactions and immediate thoughts. It's exceptional.

I checked out Mr. Gladwell's website, and while I have heard of his other book The Tipping Point through Amazon (through the "customers who bought this book also bought" link), it was through his website that I learned more about his other published work. There's an in-depth questions and answers section, and after going through that I was reminded to check out The Tipping Point after I finish Blink.

* * *

Unrelated, I was checking out Mugglenet (A Harry Potter fansite), which unfortunately isn't a site I visit often. However, I found the interviews index, which eventually led me to the post-book 6 discussion with Mugglenet's creator, several other big names in the fandom, and of course, JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series.

So no more googling for interviews for me! It's nice having a more direct link.

Any other suggested links, for either Gladwell or the HP fandom, would be appreciated!
